This little plum blossom themed tetsu kyusu in about 4.5" in diameter minus spout x 2.5" high minus lid and handle and weighs 1 lb 10 ounces. This is an older pot with a thin interior lining and aluminum infuser. It is marked but I do not recognize the mark. Maker not known. The mold work is very fine and the exterior finish is a very light plum color with a brown handle. It is possibly old enough that traditional casting methods, not green sand casting, were used to make it. There is a bit of rust in the interior finish, so this pot was used and fairly well maintained as the rust is not too deep. I think that pot dates to the 1950s. There is one minor grind mark on the bottom side (So close to being a perfectly finished little pot!). It is nice little pot, however, and probably holds about 8 ounces of water.
I am no longer collecting but will still pick up a little pot like this if the mold and finish work are very good and I do not know who made it. I think this was $23 including shipping so not very expensive. I am keeping most of my small pots as they are easy to display and very interesting to look at.
