    I think this is a butcher block and blade the block is very heavy it is 28 " high, approximately 20 "round, the Legs are 22", the block it self is 9" as for the blade he handle is 9 " long,the blade it self is about 8 " long 2" wide I would like to know the actual name of these items and approximately how old they might be and what was the actual use was for thank you in advance the blade has A F carved in the handle

      Can anyone give me a general idea on how old this might be, And am I correct and thinking it as a butcher block any information would be very helpful thank you in advance

      Have you ever looked underneath to see if there are any stamps? Sometimes these are marked.

      I did I don't see any markings any where I even looked on the metal with a magnifying glass
