I restored this Duncan Model 60 Gen 2 parking meter and gave it a University of Florida Gator theme. It was in rough shape, particularly the brass clock which was so corroded it looked more like the Antikythera Mechanism. I installed a new brass clock and I made my own decals. I’m still having trouble getting it to work properly.

You did a fantastic job restoring this meter. I feel if you had restored the inside and just polished up the outside, it would've looked way better. Sometimes I like that pop and shock factor, but this one was too much for me. Still a great job..all your stuff looks nice.

Thanks for the compliment. It depends on the objective. I live in Gainesville, FL where the University of Florida is and there are lots of Gator fans who look for this kind of stuff for their man caves. I plan to sell it here locally. Most of my other restorations bring items back to original, and some are just partial restorations to retain the weathered look.

Makes sense..I wish you would have reproduced the sticker..it adds a lot of character..
