I have never seen one of these in any of my junking adventures. Chess, checkers, poker chips for poker, I think that is a cribbage board (although I have never played and not 100% sure) the board is 9” x 9” x 1 1/4” thick. Each side has a brass plate that slides open to access the different game pieces. One side holds a deck of cards. the next side pokers chips and checker pieces. Chess pieces in the thirds compartment followed by the checker / cribbage pegs in the last section. I am pretty sure all the pieces are carved bovine bone. The game board has some scratches and wear. My guess 1900-1920s for age. If you know more please comment. I always enjoy learning and feedback .
