    I think that this is a concretion of some kind. It's a very cool rock i found in a thrift shop today. has a great profile - like a castle or something.

      Would it be too rude (snarky? someone else used that word recently) to THANK YOU for showing this as simply "a cool rock"?? (vs. a fanciful 'prehistoric relic', that is...) I mean, ALL rocks are sorta kinda prehistoric things, aren't they...but very few of 'em are anything but that...?? ;-) ;-) :-) :-)
