He almost seems to demand a light underneath this striking pose, especially with those lavender colours !~

Thank you Phil for your fabulous comment, I agree light is always beautiful on glass animals, but if direct it causes too much glare so I have to be careful. He is a glowingly pretty elephant, thanks for noticing
Thanks vintagelamp for your super praise for this lavender color, Swedish glassmakers seem to do it best when it comes to this color glass animal, lucky to find one occasionally
MrsT thank you for your great compliment about this lavender glass, I love it too and hope to be adding more in future, always have an eye out for this unusual blue tinted neodymium type
She's so beautiful- so feminine and dreamy looking, especially her lovely lavender color, it reminds me of some sort of really surreal dream you might have. She's also in a really sweet pose, and looks like something you might see in a children's nursery(up on the shelf, away from little hands!) because given her size and her ears I think she's a baby elephant also. :P
It is very endearing and I love the color transitions, Jenni. Great piece. Really nice size, too.
Many thanks Lauren & aura for the love
Thank you Lauren for your lovely praise, it is a beautiful image of a surreal dream and placing this in a child's nursery, and I can most definitely see it's a baby elephant esp that back view showing both open ears & the upturned head, very Dumbo like & cute! I hope to find more lavender animals in future now that the holidays have passed, it should get easier receiving pkges from overseas
Kevin thanks so much for your great comment, it certainly is a pretty color and yes, the good sized animals are a treat when I can find them :)
Wonderful little elephant Jenni!! I love the color!
Glad you enjoyed my lavender 'Dumbo' Scott, thank you for the fantastic praise I love this color too & am on the lookout for more
Thank you Karen and jb for loving this Swedish glass elephant, delighted that you both liked it and always very grateful for your thoughtfulness
