Dixie also has original style V-springs are their people are very helpful. You can send them a sketch of what you need and they will match it up as close as you can find. I'm super impressed with your skill.

Goat shit is always the best , every year ! Thank you kindly for the offer, I actually have dealt with Dixie gun works for over 50 years . I got into muzzle loading in the early 1970's. I can remember fingering threw their thick bible like a Christmas addition of the Sear's and Roebucks catalogue as a little kid. It was the main go to for guns, parts , and supplies at the time., and a great staff people to deal with.
I just finish the restoration on that box lock London flintlock muff type pistol. I was able to fabricate the few parts needed for that, as most was striped out threads, and broken off screws , as I had to enlarge some, and remake the screw's , and some to the new threads. Broken frame tip on inner screw handle mount, had to Tig welded up, and refashioned the end . Original wood handle was one of the main issue's, as original it was a two piece glued together on one side, with all frame screw holes augured out. If I get a chance I will post it . Take care friend,
