I broke open an appropriately dusty "vintage" (??) bottle of faux wine, to enjoy with homemade chicken alfredo, fried corn, and fresh cornbread my partner made for dinner -- yummy!!!

We're 45min to midnite as I type this...its 65 degrees outside...some of 'em have already started with the requisite fireworks, and *not* fireworks... <eeek> ...HAPPY NEW YEAR, Y'ALL!!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)
