my entire life has been around motorcycles, since I was just a kid, looking in the window of the local dealer every chance I had. when I was 14 I was lucky enough to have a 1977 RM125 dirt bike, it was the fastest I've ever owned, I ended up racing it for two seasons before moving up to a larger bike. as an adult, I don't have the room or the finances to afford a collection of the bikes I either raced or dreamed of owning, but I can afford the tanks, this tank pictured is one of my favorites, with all the wear and battle scars, the dents and scratches, some how makes it even better. these tank were made to be light weight, made out of very thin aluminum, finding a good example is difficult, but the fun is in the search ! I have this one along with a few others on my wall, I look at them now just as I did as a kid.. this tank is off a 1977 Suzuki RM125.

They were a hell of a bike! The yellow is iconic is it not?
What a great piece for nostalgia.
