old red decorated salt/pepper set

This old pair are 3-1/4" tall, clear torpedo shaped glass with little ridges at the top and bottom and decorated with slender red bands and red plastic screw tops I hope are bakelite. There aren't any maker's marks on the bottom of the glass or elsewhere that I've found. They look 1950's-60's to me with their general style and the amount of fading and wear, but I don't know that for sure.

Like the yellow set just shown, they're still in their 'original dirt' from use and storage as pictured here. Also like the others they look great with my current kitchen color scheme, but I'm not convinced I'm going to clean them for continued usage...they are more likely to become shelf-dressing instead... ;-) ;-) ;-)
