I came upon this piece a few weeks ago, I have been researching how to restore and the history of this trunk. I have started cleaning and removing the brown paint off of it but I can’t find any info on this truck. I have found a date on one of the latches (Oct 2,1883) but that’s it date wise. It does have wheels on the bottom with one missing, and has Some sort of metal on the top, front and back. If anyone has any info or knows of where I can get replacement parts I would be so great.
