    I've never bought household items from the Art Nouveau period before but I couldn't resist the finial and the way the lid is decorated.
    Height to top of metal rim 14 cm./5.5 inches.

      Marin, I hadn't thought of that. I was invited into a new FB group recently and I'm seeing Victorian bowls in ornate, decorated metal structures. Therefore this is necessary as a nod at that strain of Victoriana, I tell myself.
