The 1971 Doubled Die is a scarce variety with a few hundred examples known since its discovery. Although it is not as popular as the 1969-S Doubled Die, 1972 Doubled Die or other doubled dies in the Lincoln Cent series. This variety is also not as strong as other varieties in the series. Magnification is usually needed to spot the doubling. The doubling is strongest on the word "Liberty' and in the words "In God We Trust.".

Any example in Uncirculated grade is considered scarce with possibly no more than 100 examples known in Mint State condition.

well i am not an expert ,but you got a lot of classification 21 i believe

but let,s give an example of a classification to get an idea which is my is told , i don,t know it is true but i got no to disbelief it

off centering has a lot of classifications , i am not sure but i thought to remember when off centering is more than 7 % the failure of the coin is considered significant, not standard deviating

1 the question arises do i need an microscoop ( which i have actually)
2 do the same criteria apply to microgenitalia, at least i make some money, hahaha
