I believe this is a sewing rocker from the late 1800's? It may just be a rocking chair for rocking babies back in the olden days. Does anyone have any info?

The decoration on its back is certainly UNIQUE...there's gotta be a story there somewhere, I wish I knew any of it?!! :-)

I would doubt it being older than around 1915 or so. It appears to be double pressed and has double stretchers. Could be as new as the 1930's.

I would really like to find out more info. I have been looking for older catalogs online. Any suggestions and/or appraisers would be appreciated! Thank you
