This stainless (I guess?) tray feels kinda heavy for its modest 9-1/4" x 11-1/2" size. It has a formed lip with rolled edge all around, and "A.FRENAISE.6" appears on a small mark at the center of its bottom.
Seems like most of the A(rmand?) Frenaise references I find at a glance now are relating to silver instead, if that's actually the same maker. I haven't researched it further -- frankly I've had this for years no doubt from a thrift store someplace and it has done pedestrian duty for something or other around here ever since. Until looking again at it now I'd have probably guessed it could have been from a doctor's office or somesuch 'clinical' -- it never occurred to me that it might be something "fancy"...?? <lol>
