Hello everyone!!
Though I have quite a few cast iron dogs, I also have many Vienna bronze dogs as well. I recently acquired this antique cold painted bronze piece depicting a French Bulldog and Cocker Spaniel playing. Look at the fine details of these dogs. Every aspect of these dogs, from their teeth to their tails, is incredibly well detailed. This piece is from the late 1800's to early 1900's. These little fellows have experienced minimal paint loss over the past 120+ years of their life and are still in extremely nice condition. This piece measures 4" long, 3 3/4" wide and weighs 11oz.
Thank you all very much for stopping in for a look!!

Fabulous pair of bronze pups, they are in incredible condition for their age, and have found a wonderful new owner to keep them that way :)
Thank you Jenni!! The intricate painting of these is simply fascinating to me.

Really cute pair!
Thanks Lori!! Besides all of my cast iron and bronze dogs, we have three live female dogs, a German Shepherd, Longhair Dachshund and Mountain Cur mix. We refer to them as "The Girls". They keep us busy enough:)
