Fifth Avenue Glass Toucan
Approximately 7 1/2"
This is a glass Toucan made by fifth avenue, a company that makes lots of different decorative objects like this. From what I have found, they made 2 versions of this bird...the other would be an 11" version. It is signed by the artist on the bottom, although I can't read the signature.
Can be used as a paperweight or just decoration.
Searching for info, it's funny how every seller that has a glass object for sale tries to associate it with"murano glass"....
What a cool glass pelican, love the green & yellow colors they're very tropical
Yes...it's very hard not to like it..
Mate coloured glass....must be Murano!!
Very cool indeed!! Nice find Dave!!
Oh my gosh... I have both sizes of this bird, call a toucan? I have mine in storage, let me get them out and post them - unbelievable! Lori
I guess it does look like Toucan Sam..ha ha. And looking at the difference between toucans and pelicans...one of the main differences are the habitat and colors..so by the colors I believe you are correct...a toucan. Good catch..
Made me smile! Love it!
