For photographic comparison purposes --- Two of the most historically valuable diamond and platinum brooches in the world. --- left to right --- Picture # 1 shows a top view of the P-39 Airacobra, diamond and platinum, brooch, secretly presented to Lawrence Dale "Larry" Bell, Founder of The Bell Aircraft Company in June of 1942, by King Peter II, of Yugoslavia, Godson and Envoy of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, of Great Britain / The United Kingdom. ----- Only one made - this is the only one in existence. ----- Note: The Country and/or Military of Yugoslavia did not order, purchase or utilize the Bell P-39 Airacobra at any time during World War Two. --------- This brooch exceeds 228 natural brilliant round diamonds, plus numerous special cut natural diamonds, rubies, sapphires, and rock crystal. -- approx. 3.5 inches wing tip to wing tip, - 2.75 inches propeller to tail. ---------------- The rear horizontal tail section is historically unique and is truly historically significant. -------- This is the only diamond and platinum brooch, from The British Royal Family, that Royally recognizes "The Independence Of The United States Of America" from "British Royal Family Rule" -- as well as the efforts of The United States and The Bell Aircraft Company to assist and aid The United Kingdom, ( Great Britain ), in fighting against Hitler's German aggression during World War Two. ------- The left and right rear horizontal tail sections contain a total of 48 brilliant round natural diamonds representing each of the 48 states of the United States Of America. ------ From July 4, 1912 to July 3, 1959, The United States Of America consisted of 48 states. ------ On the 2 rear horizontal fixed wings there are 11 brilliant round diamonds on each of the two fixed wings, ( 11 + 11= 22 ), and 13 brilliant round diamonds on each two rear wing flaps, ( 13 + 13 = 26 ), -- this is true for both the left and right sides of the rear horizontal wings. -- The 13 diamonds on each rear flap represent the original 13 colonies at the time of "The Declaration of Independence" in 1776. -------------- The "vertical tail section" consists of -- one blue stripe ( 16 sapphires ), -- six white stripes ( 12 diamonds ), -- seven red stripes ( 32 rubies ), ( the same as the American Flag -- six white horizontal stripes and 7 red horizontal stripes ). ------- TOTALING, 60 natural special cut, precious jewels. -------- The "Star in Circle" insignias ( located on the front 2 wings ) consists of -- 10 blue special cut sapphires, -- 10 white special cut diamonds, -- and -- 2 red round rubies, --- TOTALING --- 22 natural, special cut, precious jewels. ----- therefore ---------- The "REAR TAIL SECTION", horizontal and vertical, as well as, the "STAR IN CIRCLE INSIGNIAS", located on the 2 front wings, contains a total of -- "108" -- brilliant round and special cut, natural, precious jewels. ----------- ( Note: this does not include the brilliant round and special cut diamonds located on the front 2 wings.) ------------ Other than the "Formal Independence Documentation", the Bell P-39 Airacobra diamond and platinum brooch / commendation, may very well be, the first and only, "British Royal Recognition" of the Independence of The United States of America from Great Britain. It also represents the massive efforts, sacrifices, and aviation ingenuity, extended by The United States Government, The Citizens and Military of The United States, and the Employees of The Bell Aircraft Company in actively helping and assisting in the defending of Great Britain and The United Kingdom from Hitler's advancing forces, at the beginning of, and during, World War Two. ------------- ( Note: the second "Silver Bullet" / "V-E Day" / "Order of Victory" ( GVII ), brooch, secretly, presented to Lawrence Dale "Larry" Bell, is not pictured, nor is it described within this posting. -- which is also historically invaluable, priceless, and irreplaceable, -- secretly presented July 5, 1945. toward the end of World War Two. ) ---------------- The Russian "Order of Victory", ( marked VII ), was designed by Alexander Kuznetsov, ( 1894 - 1975 ). -- It measures 72 mm or 2.835 inches in diameter -- contains a total of -- "174" -- Rose cut diamonds, plus, 5 artificial rubies -- the diamonds came from "Orders" and jewelry worn by the Romanov family. --- Picture # 4 shows the back side of General Dwight D. Eisenhower's Russian "Order of Victory Commendation". ----- Photographs 3 and 4 are actual high definition photographs of General Dwight D. Eisenhower's, personal, 'Order of Victory' Commendation, ( marked -- VII -- ) was supplied by - Troy Elkins, the "Museum Registrar", at "The Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum", Abilene, KS. USA. ---- General Dwight D. Eisenhower's - "Russian", "Order of Victory Commendation" is on permanent display at -- "The Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum". --- also --- The Russian, "Order of Victory Commendation" was presented to British Field Marshal Bernard L. Montgomery, during the same, public presentation ceremony, ------- British Field Marshal Montgomery's "Order" is on display at "The Imperial War Museum", in London ( not pictured ). ------ There were 22 of the Russian "Orders" made by The Moscow Jewelry and Clock Factory. --- The "Orders" that have not been awarded are on display at "The Museums Of The Moscow Kremlin". ---- This information is being supplied for pictorial, historical, educational and comparison purposes. --- Both brooches / commendations are considered historically invaluable, priceless, and irreplaceable. --------------------
The General Dwight D. Eisenhower's -"Russian" - "Order of Victory" is not for sale. -- a starting auction value would be approximately -- $18 - $22 mil. USD. -------- With this information as the only "reasonably similar" - "World War Two" - "Historical Benchmark", --------- The Bell P-39 Airacobra diamond and platinum brooch, ( secretly, presented to Larry Bell in June, 1942 ), -- and -- The Bell P-39 Airacobra - "Silver Bullet" / "V-E Day" / "Order of Victory" ( GVII ) - brooch, ( secretly, presented to Larry Bell in July, 1945 ), are not for sale and have never been placed on display at any museum or institution. -- A combined starting auction value for the two Bell P-39 Airacobra Brooches / Commendations would be approximately -- $30 - $35 mil.
