I think there's a name for this type/style of jewelry, but I don't recall what it is...?? <groan>
They are a pair of cufflinks an inch across, made of slightly dish shaped metal discs that seem constructed of four different solid metals in a geometric design -- copper, brass, silver, and maybe pewter. (or at least a slightly darker gray metal than the silver?) The posts on their backs are both stamped "174" and "STERLING" on each side.
What does one DO with cufflinks these days, anyway?? I keep finding more and more of the silly things, even some rather cool ones sometimes, but don't believe I have a single dress shirt that doesn't have button cuffs. Add to that the fact that it usually takes "a stiff in a box" to get me all dressed up like that in the first place...?? <LOL>
