Here's an unusual one. (I think?) This is an unopened bottle of Q 9 QUININE SODA, "A UNIQUE MIXER" and "A NATURAL WATER CONTAINING SUGAR CITRIC ACID AND CARBON DIOXIDE WITH CITROUS SPICE AND QUININE FLAVORS". Made in United States Of America by WHITE ROCK MINERAL SPRINGS Co. of Waukesha, Wis.
It is a 6-1/2 fl.oz. brown glass bottle, (192CC's, 6-3/4oz. Imperial) with its paper labels mostly intact though probably yellowed. The liquid inside has evaporated somewhat despite the unopened crimp on cap. Several marks molded into the bottom of the bottle likely suggest who made that and maybe when, pic 4.
Quinine is a substance once considered medicinal, but apparently nowadays only serves its other traditional function as being the 'flavor' in the mixer of your classic Gin & Tonic cocktail. ;-) :-)
