This little book only measures about 3-3/4" x 5-1/4", with the title pressed in gold on its spine and a little decoration around the edges of its probably leather binding. The page edges are gilt, and there is a leather strap bookmark bound in. The title and contents pages are shown in pics 2 & 3, including "Copyright 1958-1940." (I don't know why the dates are in that order?) There are full color photo-plates within as well as black and white illustration.
There actually is (but is not shown) a former owner's name written in fancy cursive script inside the cover, along with a telephone number featuring a two letter alphabetical prefix. The book is also tucked full of many little prayer and memorial cards (I guess?) one of which is also seen in the last pic. For the record, I have no idea whatsoever who any of the people are, or were as the case may be.
One more little book to go on my 'religious theme/topic' bookshelf...there's only one shelf of those, but three full of church hymnals and songbooks...? <lol>
