1965 Quarter found on street. I have plenty of coins I've collected some I can't make out the year or words on the coins. I have been on multiple websites and read that I need more expensive equipment to make out information / errors on each coin.

With respect, there's probably nothing unusual about it -- simply a 57yr old quarter. Common coins circulate for a long time. It remains worth exactly 25c.

Not to dissuade you from an interest in coin collecting, but I'd caution to not believe everything you read on the internet, and to save your own money instead...??

I had a bunch of 65 quarters I had collected over the years..got rid of them because they aren't worth anything.

Now...64 and older have silver, so yes find those! There are some rare error coins that are worth some money. You don't need anything special..just a magnifying glass or your phone camera.

A penny just sold for $200! And another penny sold near the end of last year for $1400! So keep checking your change.
