Sixteen identical pieces, all 3-1/4" across with a small lipped edge. Coasters I guess, they are all stamped from <1/16" aluminum with a rather detailed 'two ducks lifting off of marshy water' motif that makes me think of duck *hunting* -- an activity that I don't participate in myself, but is otherwise quite popular here.
There are no other markings and I don't know how old they really are, but I'll guess 1950's+ anyway...?
They aren't branded with anybody's product name and they certainly wouldn't be restricted to only being "BEER COASTERS" -- they should hold your Pepsi or coffee cup just fine, too -- but that's the category they give me to use...??? ;-) :-) :-)
