I inherited this Wilhelm Kuhn painting. My aunt bought the painting in the 70's. It hangs in my bedroom and I love it!

What I found in a old newspaper (The Amherst news-times. (Amherst, Ohio), 1964-12-17):
Wilhelm Kuhn was a graduate of the Dusseldorf University of West Germany. He use to teach at the Elyria School of Art and the YMCA in Ohio.
In 1964 he was in the spring may show at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
He also presented a painting to John Glenn which depicted Glenn's flight around the earth.
One of Kuhn's painting is/was hanging in the Berlin museum of art.

The artist was from Germany and attended school there. He also lived in the neighboring town (Avon Lake,Ohio) from where we reside. He also worked at Ford motor company in Lorain,Ohio as a design engineer, My Aunt worked there also. She bought the piece because its beautiful and she loved it.

Wilhelm was my uncle. I was only 11 when he passed, have many memories of him and my aunt Mary Jean Kuhn.
