It seems obvious enough that this little machine is the actual electric motor that'd go inside a model train's locomotive. However, I'm nobody's expert in model trains, and there don't appear to be *any* markings on this whatsoever that might help tell me what it fits, who made it, how old it is, or anything else at all. There's a US quarter shown with it for size reference, it looks like it would run on tracks 1-1/4" apart.

Does anybody else here recognize it?? Would you please leave a comment and share a clue, if so??

    TIA! :-) :-) :-)

Definitely not model rr expert...but the measurements sound like O scale?

And that wheel side skirt is going to be the clue you need to figure out the train..
