USS The Sullivans Model Fletcher Class Destroyer Palm Springs Air Museum Part 1

The USS The Sullivans was a WWII Fletcher Class destroyer, It was named after the five Sullivan brothers who all died after their ship was sunk. They had all requested that they serve on the same ship. As a result the navy no longer allowed brothers to serve on the same ship.
This madel is a very large scale. Seems to be a larger scale than the others which are about 1/72. It is about 8 feet long, that just a guess. Bottom line is that it is probably the best large scale destroyer model in existence.
The other side is a cut away with the interior and that is coming right up.
