Hello everyone!!
I've posted a few of these cast iron rabbit doorstops over the past several years, but this one is my latest addition. It's an early 1920's Albany Foundry #94 "Rabbit With Top Hat" doorstop. I acquired this one for a fraction of it's value because I believe someone has repainted it. But, I don't really mind as I'm just happy to add another to my collection. This is my favorite doorstop design, but, then again, I do love my rabbits. As with all of my other Albany Foundry #94 rabbit doorstops, this one measures 9 7/8" tall and the base is 4 3/4" wide and weighs in at 3lbs 5oz. If look closely at pic #4, you can make out the number 94 in the lower left hand corner of the base. The word "Albany" is also still very visible, but doesn't really show up in the photo. One day soon, I'll line up all four of my Albany Foundry #94 "Rabbit With Top Hat" doorstops and post them here on CW. The others are carefully stored away in a trunk at my home.
As always, thank you all very much for stopping in for a look!!

A most elegant rabbit with top hat, such beautiful colors & wonderful condition for age
Thanks Jenni!! It does appear to be in nice condition, but that's because someone has repainted this one.

I hope that Spring isn't far behind this cute bunny!
Thanks vintagelamp!!! As a rule of thumb, I always mow my lawn for the first time, of the Spring season, around the middle of March to the last week of March. So, it'll be here before we know it:)
