    Hello this is a item that I have not seen for years, I was wondering where it was but just found it again. It’s big and heavy but can’t see any signature anywhere on it.

      Love it. Love the fish in its stomach. How big? How heavy? Looks like soapstone....

      Thanks, I think it’s soapstone it’s approx 20 cm length, must be kilo at least.

      From what I understand... traditional Zuni did not carve pets. But modern day ancestors have been for awhile for sale.

      Gotta remember to post my zuni pictures..

      I should say maybe it’s inuit instead of Zuni as they seem to use soapstone

      cute cat, but i don't think it looks Zuni. they made carved stone animals in other pueblos too, but not as well-known as Zuni.
