We find it difficult to drive past a garage ( yard) sale sign.

We had finished our weekend sailing outing and we were on our way home when we spied a sign on the roadside. The sign said garage sale and we meandered down the leafy road in an old suburb here in Perth. We wandered down the driveway to an overgrown porch and said good morning to the ladies running the sale. Then we saw this treasure. A Fler Narvik lounge , circa 1960s. Heavily covered in marine varnish and quite scruffy. Needless to say, it’s now in pieces getting restored by myself. Lots of steelwool and fine sand paper. It’s going to take some time. We have consulted our upholsterer and managed to source the same fabric as our two Narvik single chairs. It will be a set very soon. Lucky us, Right place , right time. The fabric will be Zepel Troy Grenadine. Enjoy.????
