This part features the mid to aft section of the ship. Taken from the port side. Starting off with the boat deck which in this case is the aircraft deck. Later ships had their aircraft catapults at the rear of the ship and a more compact superstructure. The spread-out layout is more pronounced in British ships.
As can be seen by the last photo which has a short history of the ship, ships of this class tended to have a short life. Later ships had better fire control which means better fire control. Guns were radar controlled from below decks.
In the meantime this is probably the best model of a cruiser ever built.
