Well, we know it's a Waterbury clock so original would be the Waterbury Clock Co.'s factory. It's a wood cased clock in the style of a "Gingerbread" or "Kitchen" clock. A very popular type of American Mantel/Shelf clock often from the late 19th/early 20th Centuries. Your clock has been refinished front and back and the dial looks to be a newer replacement.
The closest model I could find in my references is called the "Henshaw" which was manufactured in either oak or walnut. Clearly your clock is made from Oak. It dates from circa 1906 although your example could have been made several years before or after that date. Back in 1906, a clock like yours listed for about $4.50.
Here's another example of a Henshaw like yours: http://www.antiquewaterburyclocks.com/Waterbury-0290.php

Thanks for sharing your antique Waterbury with us.
Hello MerrimanLyon, did you have any additional questions regarding your heirloom clock or have we solved your mystery?
Thanks Bruce99. What do you think it would be valued at today?
You're welcome MerrimanLyon. We really don't do appraisals on C.W. You can look at "Sold" listings on eBay to get some idea of what certain clocks, or styles of clocks are currently selling for. See this link: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=waterbury+henshaw+clock&_in_kw=1&_ex_kw=&_sacat=0&LH_Sold=1&_udlo=&_udhi=&_samilow=&_samihi=&_sadis=15&_stpos=17331-2501&_sargn=-1%26saslc%3D1&_salic=1&_sop=12&_dmd=1&_ipg=240&LH_Complete=1&_fosrp=1
If that answers your questions, again, I ask that you indicate "Mystery Solved" in your posting. There should be a checkbox that allows you to do so.
Thanks.
Are you selling this clock?
