These two ochoko (sake cups) are nearly identical in size, 2" high x 2" diameter. Neither is marked but the one on the left in the first image is Japanese Minoyaki Shino Ware, very distinctive due to the many pinholes in the glaze. The other cup's maker and style is a mystery to me, though. Again, here is a little pair of dissimilar sake cups which I found together, which has become a habit for me. These cups are among the smallest that I have found. Both are delicate and have the ring of porcelain to them, but probably not porcelain. I look forward to christening them.
I have been keeping my eye out for a Japanese Minoyaki Shino Ware cup with very dramatic pin-holing and this set was only $.99 so schwing!

Both are charming pieces and I imagine they feel wonderful in the hand!
Thanks for your comments rhineisfine! The contrast between these diminutive cups and average sized cups is startling to me. They kind of feel like they from a child's set.
Thank you kivatinitz!
