This 2"W fan shaped brooch has an alternating pendant loop, with aqua & white rhinestones of various size in a 12K gold filled setting. Signed Antoinette, the daughter of jeweler Antonio Aquilino who founded Anthony Creations in Providence RI in the early 20th century, this piece ca 1950s

Thank you Lori for your very kind comment & interest in the history of this co, the founder Antonio Aquilino like so many other Italian immigrant designers incl. some for Coro, Trifari, Ora etc, was very talented and his legacy was carried on by his daughter Antoinette. Many early pieces were signed Anthony which was the father's signature. Their small Rhode Island business never boomed like the more famous co's but they always made quality designs & I'm lucky to have a few

It's wonderful to find a vintage prong set brooch like this one as they rarely have any missing stones. At @ 70 y.o. this one has held up very nicely :)
