Hello my fellow Collectors.
Today I wish to share with you a Herschede Tambour Mantel Clock. It features a heavy-duty model 10 chiming, pendulum regulated movement which chimes and strikes on five tuned chime rods. The hours are struck on the deepest tone which compliments the four higher notes tuned for the Westminster melody. The case is made of deep, brown Mahogany accented with Redwood Burl Panels on the front.
The movement's serial number is 33470 which tells us that this clock (or at least the movement) was manufactured in 1926.
For a demonstration of the Westminster Chime and Hour Strike along with many more photos, we invite you to visit YouTube at this

Good looking clock..
Thank you vynil33rpm, fortapache and dav2no1 for your loves and thanks dave for your kind remarks. Hershcede did make some very nice clocks and their high-end movements were built like tanks. We bave quite a few Herschede mantel and tall case clocks (love their tubular bell chimes) and have never been disappointed. Thanks again for stopping by! :)
