Carved Female Indian Statue -Need Help Identifying origins

My parents always kept these on the hearth. My father was stationed in the Phillipines, and I saw a sort of similar statue posted here 9 years ago. The statue is about 20 inches tall. My parents also lived for a year or two in Wichita, Kansas, another place I have wondered if they bought this. There was a male statue that went with this one, but was broken and discarded. I would love to know anything about the origin of this. There are no markings on bottom. Thanks.
