Seth Thomas Licensed ATO clock, 1965-70, Model 519-000 Super Cube

Junghans, HAC (Hamburg American Corp,), and Kundo, even Seiko came out with a wall ATO day date clock in the early 60's that chimed the hour, as well others known for their Licensed ATO clocks, These manufactures added a transistor to regulate the time better. The original ATO movements were vertical, which ate up a lot of space in the clock case, this movement is in miniature and horizonal. This movement is the forerunner of the quartz movement.

I was surprised to see a Seth Thomas Licensed ATO clock with the day and date features that work. It uses one "C" cell batter that is accessed by removing the back panel of the clock along with day and date settings, time regulator. These clocks are pretty rare, it stands 6"X6", and 3.75 inches in depth. The license information occurs below the 6 on the dial, "Lic ATO France
