Hello everyone!!
Recently, I posted an antique "Sitting Boston Terrier" doorstop and this would be the other one I mentioned in the post. He's identical to my other "Sitting Boston Terrier" and was originally painted brown and white like my other, as I have found traces of white paint on the bottom of his feet. Though he doesn't retain his original paint, he's still a great doorstop. As I mentioned in my previous post, I do not know which foundry cast this doorstop, I still suspect it was Spencer & Sons foundry as they were known to assemble doorstops with a single bolt and square nut, like these both have. They both measure 6 3/4" tall and 6 1/2" long and they each weigh 3lbs 7oz.
Thanks so very much for stopping in for a look!!
