PEXTO 26 bent nose slipjoint pliers

I don't remember where I got this pair of PEXTO pliers, only that they've been in my toolbox a long time and its taken a certain amount of extra effort over those years to keep them there -- something about 'em seems to make other people wanna gravitate towards this particular pair everytime somebody wants to 'borrow a pair of pliers'...?? <nono><frown>

Stamped as made by PEXTO, their number 26-6-1/2 (size) with MADE IN USA below the slipjoint on one handle. Nicely knurled handles, the bizness end is only about 1/4" thick, so they're very handy once in awhile to reach onto something in a slender spot.

If they have a particular name or specific intended use, I'm not aware of it...please leave a comment and let me know if you know otherwise?!!
