    Participated in a jewelry auction with many pieces of Yemeni silver. This was billed as a clutch, but I've never seen anything like it and cannot find any information on it. So not sure if it may be other than Yemeni and just found its way into the auction. Perhaps the pattern may help confirm the origin.

    I'll be adding the other pieces from the auction. Any info on this piece is welcomed.

      I googled Yemeni jewellery and this doesn't look to follow the patter. Did you see pieces with similar patterns at the auction? From what it looks and other items I've seen this could be a betel nut or khat container, that's my guess.
