Thumbs up is a soft drink that was invented in 1977 in India to take
      the place of Coca-Cola
I’d like to see a better shot of the opener

in 1977 Coca-Cola was forced to leave because it would not agree to the 40% ownership rule. Pepsi left India in 1962 because of slow sales.

"Coca-Cola withdrew from India, due to regulations requiring it to disclose its formula and sell 60% of its equity to an Indian company under a government plan for foreign-owned companies to share stakes with domestic partners."

When Coca-Cola left, Thums Up became the softdrink..of course later, Coca-Cola bought the brand. Coca-Cola returned to India after 28 years.

Sorry I did the same thing. ..it's Thums Up not Thumbs.

Like V33 said...is that just painted on the bottle opener or actually stamped? Your pictures aren't good. And is the logo on the front have a red background? And what's stamped inside the lid?
