My son was tilling a field and found this. It is heavy and silver. I see a man on a horse with a sword it looks like he is knighting the other man. There are leaves around the image.
Any ideas on what you think it is?

I live in the United States. It was found in Tennessee.
Rather crude but needs better pics. The old man is probably begging for money as the other has his money satchel on horse.
Washing it with warm soapy water and an old toothbrush will clean it up. May just be silver colored, not silver. If it is silver, it should have an assay mark on it somewhere. Is there any writing on the back? Even if not, an image of the back might be helpful. You get to post four images....
Thank you! It looks like a rough back.I cannot see any markings. It is very heavy however. I tried washing it but it is quite old .
This reminds me of a Masons/Knights Templar medal. There's a hole on top. Good luck, it's very cool!
