Hello everyone!!
I was lucky enough to land this vintage cast iron doorstop titled "Boston Terrier With Paws Up" recently. This one was invented and patented by W. Lauderbach in 1931. In fact, the patent No. 83051 is embossed on the inside of this pup's left foot and the word "PATENT" on the inside of his right foot. Although, I'm still unsure of which foundry it was that cast this one. He is a two piece design held together with a single bolt. This one has experienced quite a bit of paint loss throughout its' 90+ years of life, but not enough to take away from his cuteness. I own a couple of these already, but landed this one for an incredible price and just couldn't pass him up. He measures about 9 3/4" tall and 7" wide from tip of tail to extended paw. He weighs 5lbs 15oz.
Thanks very much for stopping in for a look!!!

BHIFOS,
Lol, my wife isn't too crazy about my doorstop collecting. So, most of my doorstops are in storage. I keep very few of them in my home.
