Hello everyone!!
Another recent acquisition was this vintage cast iron Wirehaired Fox Terrier doorstop. This one was once white and black, but has developed quite a nice patina throughout nearly a century of life. The design also gives sort of a 3-D appearance. This one is a wedge style (notice the wedge in pic #2) and was made by Spencer & Sons Foundry, in Guilford, Conn. I'm not truly sure of the exact age of this one, but it was cast sometime between the 1920's and 1930's. It measures 6 1/2" tall and 4 1/2" wide.
Thanks very much for stopping in for a look!!

Fantastic wire haired fox terrier doorstop, such wonderful detail for its age
Jenni,
Thanks so very much! Short of a bit of paint loss across the bottom edge, it's still in premium condition.
