This interesting Victorian vase found on eBay AU arrived today - & in a number of ways it is a bit different to all my other examples of Victorian glass with applied decoration.
Made from two layers of cased glass - a pale green over white, it measures 15 cm tall, 6 cm across the cut top rim, & around 7.5 cm across the base, foot to foot.
The vase has three applied pink flowers with clear twisted stems & two blue leaves per flower, which terminate in a slim, pointed foot.
Most of these types of vases have the applied decoration only on one side, but this vase is equally decorative from all aspects.
No pontil mark, & in excellent condition for its age.
Most likely Bohemian origin.
Wonderful Victorian vase!
Many thanks, Scott!
