This is a little silver figurine that I was told is sterling silver. Is there a way to verify? Anybody know what it is or possible origin? It weighs 22 grams.

      Maybe it’s a seal ???

      What a mysteriously lovely piece!
No idea what it is (if it's not simply a miniature), but I am wondering if the face in the palm is actually supposed to be a full moon.
Interesting also that the one ring on the hand is on the thumb -- or is it -- perhaps that's one loop of the "strap" that seems to be binding the flower (back of hand) and perhaps the round moon-disc (palm of hand) in place?
Indeed it could be a seal that has lost the matrix or die on which the design would have been etched.
In any case, this piece is charming, and the mystery only adds to its allure :)

Forgot to mention, I also wondered if the "full moon" is supposed to resemble a girl in a skirt with her arms raised (and the middle 3 fingers being hair or a headdress). In the fashion of the Rubin's Vase optical illusion, you know -- is it a woman's face or is it a vase?
