Continuing from yesterday, the rest of my fleet of 1/18th Scale Warbirds. The largest of these replicas is the twin engined P-38 Lightning. Next are a few notable airpower pieces from the axis. The Focke-Wulf 190 D9 was a late war combatant. This particular version was assigned to protect the airfields that Meserschmit ME-262's were stationed and flew from. The standout Red underbelly was to notify German ground troops NOT to shoot at their own plane. Next is the infamous Ju-87. Painted in a desert camo scheme. Finally another view of the F4u, showing its fold up wings capability. I used to have a second P-47 as well as a Japanese Zero, but sadly, I sold them off. Duh!
All are beautiful models. The P38 and stuka are my favorites.
