Bull bovines are sometime quite ornery. they must then have a brass ring inserted in the nose for safe handling purposes.
some bulls are so ornery that you cannot insert the ring, using the ring's own puncturing point.
Then you must use a punch.
This is such a punch. you can punch the hole and insert the ring more humanely and more rapidly. The bull will still not appreciate this operation, but it is quicker with less trauma to the animal (I think).
OWWWCHH -- it hurts just to LOOK at that thing here, even without it 'coming at-cha' -- and this from a human who also happens to have a couple extra holes/rings of my own scattered around my anatomy...not in the nose, though...??? <lololol> I've actually got a brass livestock ring around here someplace I think...I should find that thing and show it up?! :-) :-) :-)
thank you AnythingObscure for your comments. You mentioned yhat you have some brass bull rings, this reminded me that somewhere, I have several of these rings that I purchased from various butcher shops in my area. If I find them, I will post them. Thanks again for your comeback.
Here's the ring that you reminded me I have, hotairfan! :-) :-) :-)
