Hello everyone!!
I've always wanted an antique early 1900's wedge style Swan doorstop by Spencer & Sons of Guilford, Conn. in my collection. I still don't have one, but I do have this reproduction of that particular doorstop. When I found this it was painted solid snow white with a black eye and beak, which was completely the wrong colors for this doorstop. So, I decided to repaint this reproduction to look exactly like the real thing. This one was only $20, but if it were the original, as seen in pic #4, it'd be worth several thousand dollars. For now, I'm pleased to simply own the reproduction of this wonderful Spencer & Sons Swan doorstop. It measures 13 1/2" long and 7 7/8" tall.
