Great Grandpa go this after the circus came to town and the tires were stolen off his work truck. This story was passed to me by my Great Aunt, who gave this to me in 1999 after stumbling on it in a dresser drawer. It was likely undisturbed in that drawer from 1938, the year Great Grandpa died.
