I've been looking for a gold to use on a few things and this one was recommended somewhere - Gilder's Paste Wax and i like it. it polishes nicely. and this is on a very impervious service. The star is made of some kind of plastic or resin, but the gold paint does adhere to it well.

Pete..don't know if you ever saw these...my mom was a master of origami and made these ornaments. Your stars reminded me of these...

Beautiful dav2no1! only mine is very heavy - either pottery or maybe resin.

ho2cultcha, interesting information. Thanks for the review of this product!

dav2no1, your mom was more than a master of origami, she was a master of beauty! You spoke of your mom as was, not is. I’m sorry for your loss. She’d be proud you’re showing off her master works. They’re simply beautiful.
